In a spirit of reconciliation with my inner queer, I decided to treat myself this afternoon to the 1955 cinematographic version of Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical Oklahoma, starring a dashing Gordon MacRae. Absolutely priceless. Favourite quote: Shet yer face, or I'll fill you so full of lead, you'll be walkin' around like a duck fer the rest of yer life!

Also some all-time musical masterpieces, and it was really hard to decide which song to bang on here, with such classics to choose from as The Farmer and The Cowman Should Be Friends, and It's a Scandal! It's an Outrage!

But in the end, I had to go for I Can't Say No, for obvious reasons...
