A young Timothy Hutton in the role of Calvin, a restless teenager coming to terms with his brother's death, his mother's bitter anger and his father's passive resentment. Possibly my first cinematic crush. Also the first time I realised there were young people who felt - albeit differently - the same pain I felt.
